Niqueman14 Posted July 7, 2023 Share Posted July 7, 2023 i just have a quick question for anyone who has any knowledge about the subject. i have a watercooled gsxr 1100w and was wondering if i re-sleeve the cylinders too accept a 79.5mm piston my question is how far can i bore the already big sleeve?? any info will do thank you Quote Link to comment
wombat258 Posted July 7, 2023 Share Posted July 7, 2023 79.5mm bores already have problems with blowing head gaskets. No gain in going bigger unless the bores are offset, and this requires a custom block and pistons (ie. SBM). With offset bores over 83mm is possible. 1 Quote Link to comment
