Dyna 2000 initial timing

Hello all. Have got myself a dyna 2000 for my b12 mk1. Full advance timing in the instructions say 35-40 deg has any one set there’s different for better results? I have 1mm skimmed head /Kent reground cams / bit of porting/ 1216 big bore/ 38 mm flatslides. Any good advice will be much appreciated. Alex.

Once above 33 - 35 deg its largely immaterial ! Ideally you want more timing in the low- mid range @ light throttles but can't be done with a 2D ign. system!
