Which oil cooler onto 1170 et

Hi all ,

Any experiences with oil coolers for uk use ? 

There are some lovely expensive ones out there and some cheaper .

Stock EFE cooler in combination with a EFE oil filter cap for cheap solution or any nice aftermarket cooler assy like Setrab or similar. Both will do, depends on how trick you think.

I used a Serck 13 row oil cooler with HEL lines and fittings on my ET and it keeps my oil nice and cool. I used the same set up when I lived in the UK with no problems. As Pedda said EFE oil filter cover or original et cover with a plug fitted internally.

@Mr farty Any chance of some more photos of your bike? Im in teh process of stripping my EX and am looking for inspiration.

For what it's worth, and I am obviously a bit biased, do whatever you need to do to finish your project and take as long as you need to to finish your project because when it's done all the pain, expense and frustration will be worth it when you press the button and twist the go handle. My ET puts such a big shit eating grin on my face whenever I get it out on to the open roads. Good luck.
