Sean Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 I've made my own short exhausts and kept the factory 4-2. Its a 93 1100w with a 97 750 cdi fitted. Its now ridiculously fast and runs like a dream. Everything I read says I should re-jet the carbys but it smells of petrol at idle and spark plugs tell me everything is sweet. Quote
badgerkdd Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 The old adage 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it' seems to fit this situation! Quote
Kristjan Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Stupid question, but why the hell did you have to put '97 750 (it's a carby-SRAD) ECU on it and when will it blow up because of the higher rev limit? Quote
34Black Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 (edited) As long as you only dip into the red occasionally you will be OK. The biggest worry will be a missed shift revving it to destruction. Not sure why my post came up as a quote from Kristjan !!! Edited July 8, 2015 by 34Black Quote
