Havoc Posted January 17, 2022 Posted January 17, 2022 Dave Dunlop has asked to borrow an 1100 Slabby off me to do a header adjustment, but I've only got a 750. I'm sure I've put 1100 pipes on a 750, but they hung too low, and 750 pipes go on an 1100 if the sump is changed? It's been a while, thanks Quote
Dezza Posted January 17, 2022 Posted January 17, 2022 It depends on the exhaust manufacturer: for some the downpipes and collector are the same for the 750 and 1100 slabbies, with the difference in the link pipe, e.g. Cobra. I have a set of Cobra downpipes if you want to borrow them. They definitely fit an 1100 slabby (and a 1200 Blandit with slabby sump). I think it's the short-stroke 750 pipes that are too short for the taller 1100/1200 engines. 1 Quote
