Hi there, just finished my first winter project.  Good job its not snowing yet as I will get to try it to work tomorrow.  Made my own plates for mountings, borrowed handlebars from another bike, Triumph bar risers.  Hopefully a good job.

did the fairing need any modifying?

No the faring was ok.  The risers I fitted are offset (they came from a triumph tiger) and I have them more towards me, maybe that helped avoid any fairing changes.  Rode to work today and they work really well.  Only slight thing is the mirrors dont work just as well now but there are always options to sort that out.  A good choice if like me and suffering from T.M.B. syndrome and all those injuries from the LC days are coming back to haunt you.
