750's.....

I currently have an R716 750 engine that came out of an M model GSXR. I's been down the road at some point and someone kindly bodged a crack in the case with araldite.

Can anyone confirm if the pistons/barrels/head off this engine will work on an earlier R705 bottom end? I've had a read though the frankensteins guide and quite frankly it confused the fuck outta me. I *think* it'll work but i dont wanna rip an engine apart if i dont have to

Only engine stuff isnt imterchangeable on is the short stroke 748cc ones iirc mate.

Early slabby motors and later slimgy ones when they went back to long stroke are pretty much the same.

Heads are all interchangeable, dot heads are from short stroke motors
