paddle Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Hi I have just had to re weld one of my exhaust stud holes as the previous owner absolutely butchered one of the holes trying to drill it out.I have re tapped the hole and would rather use studs instead of bolts.would there be any issues with studs apart from the ball ache of exhaust flange alignment.didnt know if anyone in the past had junked bolts for studs Thanks Quote
Gixer1460 Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Common enough mod and I find studs an nuts a damn sight easier to assemble compared to a cap head bolt int o a hole you can bearly see! SS studs and bradd or copper nuts is a safe solution IMO. Quote
