Blandit subframe removal

Hi all. Not in any rush to do this. But I am wanting to know if i cut the lower subframe rail where marked orange. Will I have a hole or will it be solid metal. 

I would start to the left of the line and then work my way in with a flap wheel (or whatever they are called) hope some one can help as I'm sure many frames have been cut about before.
