sharpy Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 (edited) If both are 8 Valves seem there both use the same gaskets according to Mr Cycles and Z1 Enterprises. 11483-45000-H17http://www.mrcycles.com/oemparts/a/suz/50d402f9f8700230d8b4e977/clankcase-coverhttp://www.mrcycles.com/oemparts/a/suz/50d3ff1cf8700230d8b4ddde/crancase-lh-coverhttp://www.z1enterprises.com/ItemDetails.aspx?itemDescription=Gasket+-+Magneto+Cover+-+GS750+GS850+GS1000+GS1100&item=11483-45000-H17 Edited November 4, 2015 by sharpy Quote
russ101 Posted November 4, 2015 Author Posted November 4, 2015 Tar looks like a different part no for cover tho, oh the mistery continuos. Quote
sharpy Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 750 has smaller alt. im sure ill look in garage and only have GS1000's and a gsx 750 cover Quote
wraith Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 The GS750 cover will fit the GS1000, but the alt/starter clutch are smaller on the GS750 so you will need them as well, but the GS750 bits makes a big weight loss (apx 1/2 Kg) it all dose work as I'm doing it on my tuned GS1000 motor. Quote
russ101 Posted November 10, 2015 Author Posted November 10, 2015 Thanks wraith sound about right but I only got bare cover, ha anyone need it ?. Quote
wraith Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 This is why I have ended up using the GS750 cover and starter clutch, as got a cover (with starter clutch) off that site saying that it was off a GS1000 but, no, it was a GS750 (but hey, it works and saves weight). Quote
