Gsx1400 engine dimensions

I tried to fit a gsf1250 engine to my 11F but I didn't consider the cases dimensions on the clutch side that is 7cm higher than the sacs engine.

I'm thinking about the big gsx1400 one. Can somebody measure how large is the engine head?

The cover is 445mm.

That isn't the widest part of the top end

470mm measured at the cooling fins.

 

You need about 290mm between the lower frame rails.

Lower front engine mounting point to cam chain bulge in rocker cover is 480mm

 

It is a big boy.  Took me a lot off work to fit it in a efe frame

Rebuild the subframe is not a problem, I've issues in the rear part of the cam cover because of the twin spar frame
