Iain88 Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 Does anyone know if a bandit 1200 swing arm/shock and front shocks fit to slingshot 750 frame, I have a 750 frame but I'm trying to work out how much of a b12 can be used before I commit to buying one for parts, deffenently keen to use a bandit 1200 engine and I know that fits but unsure on the swing arm and suspension side of things, cheers. Svsam Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 I did this, found a cheap B12 as a donor bike (mk2). i have used the rear shock. The front forks have different bearings in the headstock. I used the b12 wiring loom, and would have used the exhaust system but I used a 750 head and exhaust. if you can find a reasonable priced bandit go for it as the engines alone can be £500. All depends how bespoke you want to go. Quote
fatblokeonbandit Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 The b12 front end will go in if you swop the steering stem for a slingshot one, the b12 swinging arm is too narrow so spacers need making, the carbs, wiring loom CDI, switch gear, will all work and the exhaust will go on but not the right angle of the dangle..
