Last year purchased a 97 gsx600f completely standard and was running fine, the winter however has been a cruel beast.

The standard exhaust met its match with all the grit laid down it has rotted faster and blown through.

Problem I am faced with is it has the 4 into 2 system as standard. However I have been trying find a new system but I can only find 4 into 1, I was told I would have to change the sump in order for it to fit. I cannt find the standard 4 into 2, nor do I like it anyway. Does anyone know what exhaust will fit on and whether I will need to change the sump around to do.

My final option is the full delkavic system just under 400 quid, but that might mean the sump swap. I don't want to pay or do that Haha. So any and all advice is appreciated

First welcome to OSS :)

The 4-2 zorst are hard to get now a day's as you know as it was only the early ones that had them, the gsx750f 4-2 zorst will fit.

The 600f 4-1 as well as the b6 will fit but you may need to do some rework on the rear hanger bracket as the the holes may not match up, yes I believe you will need to change the sump and oil pick up and to be safe the oil return pipes, the b6 or gsx600f will fit, once you have the bits you need you could always sell your old sump etc (I'd be interested :vu:)

Stick around OSS and you will  forget about the 600 zorst as you will end up putting a b12/gsxr1100 motor in the 600 frame as some are doing these days (y)
