KATANAMANGLER Posted January 22, 2019 Posted January 22, 2019 It would appear that Canadian winged hammers are just like number 6 buses. You wait all day for one to come along and then 2 come along at once. Last week I winged up @Wilsonand this week it's his racing buddy@riversbikes @fatblokeonbandityour'e going to like this because he's racing a 1200 Bandit. Riversbikes told me: Like Wilson I'll be racing at the Gimli "Goat Path", but will try to head south and scare some 'muricans at a trackday and/or an AHRMA event somewhere. In the past I've been the local Thunderbike Champion in Novice and Expert classes, and in 2011 won the Ultralight GP class with a Tigcraft-framed DRZ400 supermono, the frame of which I bought from Dave Pearce directly in 2008 and flew home as carry-on luggage. I last raced a KTM Duke 690 in 2017, placing second in Canadian Thunder. This should be a somewhat different experience. Can't wait until May! Welcome to the team and may our mighty winged hammer give you the thump you need for the 2019 season. Keep us up to speed with your progress. You can now start a thread in the race section telling us all about your preparation. 5 Quote
