Could anybody please offer assistance with a puzzling question? On my 1100M, on the Petcock body - the on position is at half past, reserve at quarter to and prime at quarter past, however, the owner's manual states on at quarter to, reserve at half past, prime at quarter past. Which one is correct? Any help would be gratefully received.

Is a special lock up tool required ?

Is it just a case of threadlocking and torquing the bolt back up ??

Could anyone shed some light on the likely source of my starting problem on my 1100M please. When the starter button is pushed the starter makes a whinning sound like a jet engine starting !!!! it does eventually start the motor but there is an obvious problem. Is it most likely to be the motor itself (armature brushes ect) relay or starter clutch ??

Changed the oil,started her up,circulated the warm oil for a while put her in gear n got the wheel spinnin (on a stand !) then put the back brake on. Did this a few times and the plates freed up. Their still draggin a little but nowt a good run wont sort out. Thanks for the help.

Given the master n slave cylinder a good clean with new seals in both, still no joy !!! The plates must be stuck, it hasnt run for quite a while. Once i get it fired up n the oil gets warm n circulates should they free up ? Will rocking it in gear get em released ?

A straight forward job of bleeding the clutch on my 1100M has me stumpped. All seems well at the lever but the pushrod just isnt disengaging the clutch. Ive had the slave cylinder apart n replaced the seal, bled it all through again, still no joy. the cylinder its self seems fine. Any suggestions ? Is there a special method required ? Any help appreciated.

Will the push rod pull right out,or is it attached ?

Could anyone shed some light on why my clutch push rod is not disengaging the clutch after replacing the sprocket cover. ive made sure its locating properly and have bled it through several times all with no joy. the bikes an 1100M Slingy. Any help appreciated.

Can someone help me please. Does the steering damper from a slabbie 750M fit an 1100M,and can they be refurbed,if so any recommendations ?

Have a conflict of opinion !! Could anyone tell me the standard amount of teeth on a rear sprocket for a GSXR1100M PLEASE.

The vechical NO or chassis NO is GU2313106 ?? Any help would be great.

Anyone know if a GSXR1100 registered on the 14.3.91 is an L or M model. Thanks.
