That fat bloke on a bandit knows what hes on about !! Go to a reputable dyno, its the quickest & best way.

Totally agree with Quist. when using stainless bolts ceramic grease is far better than copperslip. Have been using it for a while now with not a prob.

They do fit, you'll just have to adjust your rebound and damping.

Am i right in thinking that headers from a GSXR 1000 K2~4 will fit my 1100M ? Do any other headers/collectors fit allowing a 4 into 1 and the bottom fairing / bellypan to fit ?? Thanks fellas.

Im looking to swap my 1100M sump to a Bandit 1200 sump for tighter exhaust fit, do all models fit ? Does anything else differ ie oil pick ups ? Thanks fellas.

Thanks oilyspanner. Think im going to stick with em & have em cleaned & refurbed. Ive been saving & working overtime for ages & am now about to have a Racefit legend made & fitted, do you think dyno time will be needed after for changes ?

Is it whining like a jet engine trying to start? If so its like Gixer1460 says, the starter clutch retaining bolts worked loose.

Is it generally accepted that 38mm Mikunis are a better option than the standard 40s on the 1100M ? Im having a right mare with mine and thinking of changing em.

Not 100% sure on that one but would assume so.

The WN stand measures in at 240mm from the center of the bolt hole to the knuckle of the foot, and 270mm to the tip of the foot. So a lot longer than yours.

Having problems with the side stand switch or rather the bracket on the WN stand wont reach it !! Can it be bypassed (the switch) or is a bit of grinding & welding in order ?

What model 750 was that Stoney, WN WP ? or will any of the water boilers do ? Just need summat slightly longer that'll go straight on.

Anyone help please ? Is there a straight swap sidestand from any other bike (maybe slightly longer) that would fit my 1100M ? Thanks in advance.
