  1. already got new oil and filter to replace, oil level is halfway up the window, but for £40, better safe Thanks Oily
  2. sumps have been opened, floats checked, adjusted, float valves checked, float valve seats removed, checked and re-inserted, carbs refitted to bike, will test tonight.
  3. thanks Captain Chaos, so can I prevent it?, and if so, how? I've managed to sort out the petcock, so thats now working as it should,
  4. can carbs overfill with the engine running? which would cause excess fuel to enter the airbox?
  5. removed carbs this evening, drained fuel tank, fitted an auxilary tank (carb balancing) to carbs,(suspended higher than workbench) level stayed constant in aux tank, carbs propped upright, no dribbles or leaks out of anywhere, so float valves, and float heights ok? will tackle fuel tap, as i know it to be faulty.
  6. took the tank off this morning, and the fuel tap is letting fuel flow in the run/on position, so need to revisit that. Airbox was dry this morning, so no fuel into it with bike off, overnight (tank full, always bloody is when you need to remove it... ) would this cause fuel in the airbox? if the float valves and float heights were working correctly? don't want to strip carbs down if the tap is the fault, could it be something else? will rig up auxilary tank tonight and run bike, then check airbox
  7. fuel tap seems fine, fuel is overfilling when riding, not when stood, oil level looks normal, but will drop the oil, for fresh oil, (again) fuel tap in the normal/on position.
  8. buggery bollocks, i have overhauled the fuel tap on my gsf1200, and replaced the o-rings float valves with a kit, (all 4), set the float heights, bike runs, but struggles occasionally, anyway opened the airbox drain and about a rattle can lid full of fuel, (might be less) pished out, anyone any ideas of what i may have missed or forgotten, Thanks

  10. i have a GSX750w with GSF1200 oil cooler, fits the lugs and bolt holes, and the GSF1200 cooler cover (aftermarket) fits the Inaz
  11. i have b6 headers on my inaz, link pipe is tight to pillion pegs, but been on for a couple of years now, 750 isnt a tall block, like the 1200, just a bored out 600
  12. i believe you have to raise the tank slightly for it too fit, not sure whether its the rubbers at the front or at the rear, Jason has one on GSX Inazuma page on FB
