Thanks every one foe your input its much apreciated .I am using a koso i have had for some time the katana speedo and revcounter have been removed and the small oblonge kaso unit fits inside we will see how it works

wow this has got you all thinking and i thank you i bought the front end without checking it was a bargain i have to keep control of costs but i do have an elec koso i think because of my limited exsperiance i think dezzas solution will work for now I can not thank all of you for your responces

hi all its a long time i have been on hear though i do check in on a regular basis. Now to the question i have just purchased a used full front end from a gsxr1000 their does not apear to be any way of fitting a mechanical speedo drive to the front wheel what options have i got using the kat speedo thanks in advance for any info Albie

I might sound dum(won't be the first time ) its 47 to 49 teeth i require (bottom set are ok) are any other suzuki with the 5 bolt fitment going to fit ?????? please excuse my lac of knoledge but at the moment their are no dealers near me,Regards Alboo.

using a 530 chain and a gs500 hub what uses a compatible sprocket as i have to buy one but am a loss at what Fitts i cannot find one

Hi every one still messing with my kat I have 1127 oil burner fitted and decided to fit a 17" wheel with a gs 500 sprocket carrier and I am running a 530 chain and for the life of me i cannot find a suitable rear sprocket what i would like is a 43 tooth 530 is their another model whose sprocket will fit thanks in advance Albie

still working on my 7/ kat with the oil cooled motor my harris pipes from the air cooled engine were to big but i did have the 4 into 2 from the gsx so i cut the ends of both and the gsx pieces slid perfectly into the harris pipes lined up and tacked removed welded and tidy up job done

just been through this and after a lot of advice i went for the dj kit stage 3 followed the instructions to the letter including drilling the slides and air jet runs nice and revs like a banshee .gsx1100f engine kn filters and a harris exaust.
