Hi lads
just wondering if anyone knows the size of thread in the tank that takes the fuel gauge? I have a turbo slingshot but originally the water drain in the tank has been cut as used as fuel return, but had an issue lately with water getting in, have always wanted to Change it, so thinking about another tank and make up a fitting so I can screw in a return pipe where fuel gauge would go (isn’t used)
thanks

J/K/L seats are swappable (750 and 1100), M/N are a bit wider and don't fit on L panels.
Thank captain
Will look for a J,K.l seat

Nope. 750 has built in license plate light, 1100 has separate.
Thanks captain
I had noticed a pic with the license plate light on and wondered if the difference was just the light or centrepiece, L is newest I’ve had tbh, so never had the twin light set up.
so looks as tho the panels I have the opportunity to buy are 1100 as the Center piece doesn’t have licence plate light, or light for that matter, do you know if the 1100 panels will fit 750 frame? Would Save me buying them them turn out they don’t fit
cheers for the info

M subframe is different from J/K/L. Wider and a bit longer.
That’ll answer that then, cheers

Afternoon lads
recently got a 750m frame, and I had some older rear panels( solid rear light) so I thought I’d offer them up with spare tank etc, as I believed even tho there older panels, they would still fit? But it doesn’t look as tho they sit right at the back, holes should line up for grabrail? No big deal if they don’t fit, but just wondered if im missing something obvious, as I thought the subframes were the same?

Cheers for the input.
Pretty similar to running the B12 tap on just prime then really. I have read they are faster flowing than the B12's though, and lower profile.
Maybe not worth messing with as an upgrade. But i dont have ant tap atm so need to buy one either way. Will give it a go!
They are definitely lower profile, I’ll see if I can find a pic

I’ve used an early fazer 600 tap, with the bandit faceplate and twist knob on, not with turbo tho, doesn’t have reserve and is gravity feed, used it on a dot head bandit conversion I did,

Thanks, will have a look into the fibreglass

Hey lads
still few jobs to do on the project, but looking for ideas for a seat to put on the seat unit, my thinking was to shape some thin sheet metal and drill holes so an upholsterer could rivet the cover on? Any ideas? What have some of you lads done? Other option is of course to just use some race seat foam, unsure which way to go, cheers for any input

Looking good, in a sinikiar situation with my slingshot, 12 motor and being set up for standard pistons, also like you have busa pistons to fit at later date, be interested to see how you get on with fuelling, 117.5 in mine at the minute, going by reading other threads I think that’s a bit on the High side. But will find out soon, will keep an eye on how your getting on , here’s a pic of my slingshot so far, mine was a pete field kit that I bought off somebody after they run it a little while, hope to see the road this year!

My Pingel has been on for 4 years with no trouble,I think some people use washing machine type taps as well.
Cheers paul
prob gonna be a pingel, did wonder if the slingshot tap would flow enough being twin feed, but told it won't , cheers

Hi lads going to be fitting a turbo kit to my bandit 12 engined slingshot, is there any alternative to a pingel for high flow? Had a pingel in past and always used to leak, so I'm trying to find alternative, also was £125 for one when I looked earlier, if it has to be then fair enough
cheers

Hi lads
little question, I’m looking for a slingshot swingarm, I have an 1100 frame but I thought the 750 arms fitted the same, so I was going to use whatever one I could find, but someone told me they are different fitting? Is this true, I have tried to search for an answer but don’t seem to be able to find the info,
many thanks
