  1. As @Gixer1460said above. I have dramatically increased the flow which might be overwhelming the needles. They didn't flood with an 8mm fitting.
  2. That all makes perfect sense @Gixer1460 I'm gonna try the 8mm fitting I had fitted before. Might even experiment with flow rates. See what difference is.
  3. They havn't leaked once since I started putting the bike together Months ago. I've done several carb rebuilds now. Seems strange they suddenly leak after getting stronger fuel supply. I will strip them again. Might have got a bit of swarf through when I fitted the bigger outlet.
  4. Ah. I'll test it with a full tank when I've fitted a tap.
  5. @JosephWhat bore is that tap? Got a link?
  6. Was about third of a tank. Seems like a coincidence it was ok before. I'll get an inline tap. Trying not to restrict the flow to sort fuel starvation issue. Thanks @DAZ
  7. Anyone know if the electric inline pump will let fuel through when its not running? Carbs have held up for weeks til I fitted a 10mm outlet to the tank without a tap yesterday. Engine full of fuel this morning. Original tap was used in the prime position previously.
  8. As suggested by members I am fitting a check valve to the turbo feed. Does it need to be mounted horizontally? Better near the turbo end or the gallery end?
  9. Exactly what I've just done. Think you meant 50mm @fatblokeonbandit Couple hours with a hacksaw and drill.
  10. I've had mine up to 3psi static with the carbs pulled from the rubbers to check for flooding. If it can't get enough fuel it probably wouldn't flood. Mind you. It was returning fuel to the tank so maybe.
  11. I made a spigot type as you suggested from thick alloy with a nitrile gasket. I've used 8mm spigot. Can change to 10mm if I still have problems. I was gonna ask for inline filter suggestions.
  12. I might take you up on that @Jdeac. I'll see what happens. Any doubts I'll give you a shout. Thanks bud.
  13. That's what I have but mine looks cheaply made. Maybe a copy. I'm fitting a temporary fuel pressure guage to the bars to see if the pressure is dropping out and causing the issue. Have fitted an 8mm fitting too the tank. The stock tap does look restrictive.
  14. No idea but need to eliminate it as a possible problem.
  15. I think so. I have 10mm pipe from the cold pipe to a splitter then 8mm to the carbs.
  16. I set the float heights at 16mm as recommended by various guys on here. Apparently the pressure from the fuel pump and Pitot can put pressure on the floats so you need to compensate. Could be wrong.
  17. Don't GSXR have external tank vent? @Gixer1460
  18. What's the smaller pipe tail for @clivegto?
  19. Ah cool @Joseph That's an easy solution. Did the same on my other project where carb clearance was tight. Shoulda realised. What do you use for a gasket?
  20. Having just missed @Paulmbargain, anybody found an alternative hi flow tap for a Blandit. Not penny pinching but wanna save where I can.
  21. Looks like it. Wish he was more reliable.
  22. Gonna temporarily fit a bar mounted fuel pressure guage. Make sure the pressures not dropping out. Will check fuel pump output without the FPR.
