  1. Don't worry I'm expecting to triple my original budget haha it'll be a slow build over the winter plus the misses has given me free rain get and do what I want with it haha

Id hate to think what you've spent to get where you are with yours lol

  2. They Don't ...

Pic is My Motor Gen 1 Busa Pistons on 1127 rods on 1127 crank in 1127 cases

can you remember this base gasket thickness from this?

Sorry to hijack thread but this is all good info to know for my build haha

  3. They will sit 1mm down from deck if you use 1052 rods on 1127 Crank....

Vizman I know 2/5th off #uckall...........But I,ve never been afraid to join bits together to find out if it will work.............:v :tu

does anyone know how far below deck will they sit with 1127cc crank and rods?

I like it duck, your a man after my own heart haha

  4. Iv decided I'm also going to increase the cc to 1216 as iv chanced upon a very cheap set of busa Pistons with rods.

Just wondering if I need to lower compression when turboing? And if so will longer rods and the bigger cc be enough?

  5. them specs sound like Kent suz7 street cams? Had a set of them in my old mans old motor i built, picked it up a little mainly noticable in the midrange untill i tweaked the cam timing a bit

you had any experience with the suz1 cams?

  6. I don't want to flood this section with my questions so I thought I'd try to contain them just to here lol I have a few questions about a potential gsxr 1127k turbo project.

Will a garret gt25 too small To hit 250bhp?

Will I have to do any work to the standard carbs to use them as blow throughs? I think I read somewhere the diaphragm top cap needs to be changed for a metal one? If so any links would be good.

What at sort of pressure fuel pumps should I be looking at to overcome boots pressure? Can I go too high?
