  1. Just unwrapped some tape to try to trace it and it turns out it was the neutral light switch cable, which had been routed the long way round to near the oil drain pipes, for no apparent reason at all.

Next question is, how to get it working lol. Guessing this is the positive end and it just uses the crank case as its earth?

  2. I was thinking about replacing the oil warning light switch with a pressure guage sender. Just want to make sure it's a pressurised area of the system and ask where others have put theres

  3. This is where I start to get lost.

My plan is to use mostly standard gsxr 1127 lump (head, crank, cons) and rebored to 1216 with busa Pistons in and then add a turbo.

I do have a set of gen 1 busa rods that came with the gen 2 Pistons (I know right) if that will help but I'm pretty sure they are longer. Also before anyone jumps on me I know gen 2 Pistons have smaller pins but that's beside the point.

Anyway I have no idea how I work out comp ratios and in turn how far below deck I need to be. I did try google but its still quite confusing working with formula. Any help?

  4. No build thread - was featured in Streetfighters mag - was built a fair few years ago and had a Mitsubishi hybrid turbo when they were 'state of art' - I'd deffo have a BB turbo now. It never achieved the target it was built for so there is more if I can get motivated again!

what did you originally aim for?

  5. intercoolers help...as does decent fuel and of course a good set-up...but then so does riding like a big gurls blouse, commuting 140 miles a day 5 days a week on mine resulted in a new back tyre every month.

so we have a resident tyre tester lol
