  2. My 7/11 uses a stock 750 air box, with a K&N filter. As a 750 it was running the small velocity ring, but I'm not sure what to use now it's got the 1100 motor fitted. Spec is 1100L motor, Acrapovic, and the previously mentioned air box/filter combo. BST36, 122.5 mains, needles one clip off full rich. A week before I wrote off the 1100L that the motor came out of, Craig at Dynotorque fitted the full Acrapovic and a K&N filter to it, and set it up on the dyno. It made good power and carburated really nicely. Unfortunately when I broke the bike I sold the original 1100L airbox and K&N, so I'm not sure how he set up the velocity ring, but I have a hazy memory of it being modified. Does anyone have any experience of dynoing 1100s with a stock airbox and K&N? Any advice? Cheers. Edited to add a photo, cos we all like pics.
  3. Take a spare set of plugs with you. I'm having a similar rich issue with my 7/11 at the moment, and ended up having to push the thing home when it fouled all the plugs the other day.
  4. 750L 38s fit fine in 1100M carb rubbers, I used this combination on my first 7/11 in the early 90s.
