My short seasons over on the Blandit, only managed 2 rounds, got up to 5th in the Seniors championship, think I was on for a best of 4th if I hadn’t of missed Cadwell and Oulton Park due to illness and the runts now up for sale ready for a class change next season.

So this story ends here for now with the blandit being replaced by slabbie power once I pay and collect it :)

take the sprocket cover off and see if it frees up, if the shaft is slightly bent, then putting the sprocket cover on will bind the shaft and stop it moving, as will the circlip and washer on the shaft where it goes through the cases. if it comes to it, you can take the clutch cover off and the baskert out and access the other end of the shifter mechanism.

He says it moves with the clutch lever pulled so that means the sprocket is moving freely

Glad you're sorted, I noticed it was snapped up fairly handy, these things don't stay on sale for long.

It was gone in minutes, thanks again Eddie

I'd like to change the engine in my 750 ET to an 1100, yeah i could use an oil cooled one but i want to keep it period,  but the big problem is finding an engine and when/if i do its not gona be cheap !!!

    Ya that's a killer

  5. Well lads, I have a chance of getting a very clean rolling chassis efe, but I am hesitant as trying to get an engine for it might break my heart and my pocket, I know I could put a cheap and plentiful blandit motor in it but it's not the same, am I alone in thinking this? Should I buy it or leave it? What do you think? Is there other options? Thanks in advance all.

Try all the Suzuki dealers you can. One might have some NOS on the shelf collecting dust, and be only too happy to get rid! There are plenty aftermarket pistons being made too. Welcome to OSS by the way.

    This

Suzuki carry some of the seals for the calipers but not all, it's hit and miss, best of luck with the bike and welcome.
