  1. I won't get to look at it now till Saturday. I will let you know.
  2. cant see behind it, and cant manipulate the pawl, to where it was, blind. So I need to remove the clutch basket. Stopped today to borrow a clutch holding tool. When I remove the basket, can I then remove the large cogged wheel behind, and are there circlips or fasteners?
  3. Your rectangular pieces seem to be wrongly positioned??? Possibly moved whengear selector moved If you look at the stock image then yours. Having another look I think Im wrong.
  4. Ok we seem to be neck and neck mate. How did the large cogged wheel come off?

  6. I only get 1st and 2nd after letting the selector drop. I put it back and it may be in the wrong position is this possible?
  7. I now have an issue, after this happening to me, any imfo on how you fixed this may help me, please.
  8. Yes, I saw that and couldnt believe I did the same thing after reading his post. Althought o be fair it didnt say how it happened. Could I have meshed the teeth in the wrong gaps, like one click out? When I put it back I did it blind. Should I have taken off the clutch and basket. Or is it the clutch cable adjust? Although it feels fine with in the limited use its getting.
  9. I o ringed the inlet rubbers and found the not firing on 3 was the connection at the coil.Thank you all. Running on 4.
  10. So, here goes looking for help, please. I took off the clutch cover to fit a new gasket , the clutch cable cover was off already, and I decided to put that back on so as to check the clutch movement before fastening it up. When I put on the gear lever I pushed and the gear selector shaft to far and the selector drum came out of position. I popped it back in and now... I could only engage 2nd after fiddling I can now get 1st too I can only get 1st and 2nd and neutral. It could be my clutch but the cables about fullly adjusted out and no difference. Did I put the selector back wrong? What next?
  11. If you remove the clutch cable you can remove the Airbox and Carbs as one, easily.
  12. htt 2 mins after putting together no throttle setting yet and still on choke.
  13. At approx 5 min in you can see this guys hose set up.
  14. I have been searching many sites and seem to find all 750 77/79 are part number 13110-45000 replaced with 13110-49000 unfortunately I cant find out if there is an o ring removable from here. The 850 and 1000 share this part. and this does not have sides, I think. https://www.Eblag.co.uk/itm/Suzuki-77-79-GS750-GS-750-GS850-GS-850-GS1000-Intake-Manifold-Boots-13110-49000/202730479839?hash=item2f33ada0df:g:oIYAAOSwqO5c1zgx Cant seem to find good second hand ones and the new ones are 140 quid without importing from USA. Can I put an o ring on top and bolt to head?? A little basic only may work long enough to test. Sorry if that sounds rough.
  15. I got some new o rings today so will fit tomorrow. I dont think these have removable o rings. I have two like this and two metal and rubber with groove ( the real deal). Uh. I thought about putting a ring on top and screwing it against the head. Or else its new rubbers at 50 quid each.
  16. What about this? What if it is firing... Only very poorly? How much air leak from intake rubbers would it take to f up the mix enough to only ignite some fuel sometimes? The near one is from 2 the other poorer one is from 3 and was coated with old silicone.
  17. I checked this and it worked as it should. Thanks for posting.
  18. Thank you. I think your right, it can only be a small air leak, and so not this problem, I have ordered new o rings. I checked the floats and could find nothing unusual. I have checked for spark and have good strong regular spark. I did the wd40 test, before with no result. Again I agree I also think 3 is flooding. Although it does not leak when off or from the bottom of the carb. Strange how it changed cylinders when I swapped the vacuum hose to a different carb last time.
  19. Just had a looked based on what you said ,the ones with the squashed o rings have a rubber inner the nicer looking ones have a metal inner. Thank you, little by little.
  20. So started again today. Bike starts right up, running on three. Third cylinder no show again. I fear my oil level is increasing which would suggest its getting fuel and its not igniting and getting past the rings. I have good compression, over 120 on all cylinders. I have good spark. So it must be mixture, (guess). I have the carbs off again and have rebuild and cleaned again carb 3 and 4, ( 4 for reference and they both seem good. These are my inlet rubbers they all seem different and although very similar have different numbers stamped by the Suzuki Made in Japan logo. The one with the rubber o ring is from 4 and the other from 3. 26, 19, 24, 39, they look identical except two have o rings and two don't ,the offending cylinder had no o ring and some clear silicone around it. No cuts or tears How poorly does it need to fit to loose air and upset the mix enough to stop it firing? My only other thought is the bottom adjustment screw on the bottom was further in than the others. I cleaned and bench sync these carbs last week the all, have new Main and Primary jets, all other passage ways cleaned and the needle was raised 1 notch on all. All input appreciated.
  21. It's a universal Eblag filter. I'll get a proper one. Anyone know the flow rate for a 750?
  22. Are you sure you did the compression test correctly?
