  1. That's why he was only asking £70 for the pair of them. I thought they were junk but just wanted confirmation from those with more knowledge than me
  2. I didn't trust the seller but just wanted confirmation. Said he'd been cleaning the bare metal parts with a scotch bright. That threw me off, like he was trying to hide and scoring or wear
  3. I've been told its just the casting being porous and it'll work just fine........
  4. Are these cams OK to use. They are up for sale at a decent price but I'm getting mixed answer's as to weather they are fucked or not.
  5. And any one that says a swing arm is a strait fit is talking out their arse...... don't ask me how I know...... fucking Facebook know it all twats.....
  6. I'd be interested in the cad drawings. Could see if my mate could 3D print one and test it it a little before committing to get one machined up.
  7. Billet bike bits on face book sell all the brackets to make those coolers fit. I've just picked up a cheap cooler on AliExspress
  8. Digs has made his own bracket but it might be to his spec seeing as his is all designed to his custom set up. Some bloody good work from what I've seen of his 3D scans
  9. I messaged danm54 a week or so ago but he hasn't seen or responded yet unfortunately
  10. If i remember correctly the swing arm is the same not sure about the linkage tho. Just need to learn the best way to measure everything. I may need to remove some fairings
  11. I've got a k1 750 I'm going to try and take measurements off. The lower mount is probably the one I'm going to be the harder one to get right. I do have an old shock that I'm going to strip and use to test everything moves as it should. I don't have access to the same kit as you so any help is appreciated mate
  12. How are you attaching the spigot to the plate?
  13. Nope just a standard power screen engine and carbs for now. Once it's up and running OK I'm gona look if it's worth doing the 1216 big bore or buy another engine and turboing it. Leaning towards the big bore at the moment
  14. Sorry I messed up a bit there I thought you was selling them. They joys of being dis-wotsit I read things wrong sometimes. But i need something like this for my 7/11 project. Would something like this cause issues with flooding the carb due to higher flow / more pressure?
  15. Any chance you do one to fit the wn 750 tank? And would it be suitable for standard powerscreen carbs.
  16. That would be great if I actually had the sodding bushes and it cost over £60 for the pair
  17. Oh and I've used the K3 1000 swing arm cos it doesn't use a torque arm. Makes it look cleaner
  18. I think I'm gonna do both. I have a K1 750 that's more or less identical that I can some how get some measurements off and get it as close as possible. Just waiting for the father inlaw to come back off holiday to turn up 2 swingarm bushes to fit the slingshot swingarm spindle. (From 30mm to 20mm if I remember right)
  19. I'm not 100% on this but I think the vfr shock is off set and not central so new mounts would have to be sorted. If you do use the early K series swing arm you'll need to move the lower linkage mount to make it work, so I've been told. Had quite a bit of conflicting info on that one (It's what I'm trying to fit)
  20. Well your engines in so your doing better than me
  21. It would of been easier to use the cbr 600rr shock. It's the most common rear shock upgrade
  22. The k4 shock is bigger so that looks about right. I've just used the cbr600rr to save a little space
  23. I've tried both the slingshot and K4 linkages. The slingshot sits the shock lower making the top shock mounts lower and easier to make. But I know the dog bones mount differently to the slingshot swing arm (K4 underneath and slingshot over the swingarm). Im just gonna stick with the K4 linkage with 140mm dogbones and keep everything as close as it should be for the K4 set up. Don't fuck with what already works and all that
  24. It's not a million miles out but the shock may come down abit as I've just drilled the old dog bone and may need to be a little longer. I've got a K1 750 I can check against once it stops bloody raining.
  25. I've bought a cbr 600rr shock as it's a bit shorter so might be able to fabricate a shock mount that uses the original top shock mounting points. Fingers crossed
