  1. Yeah it's an L/M and can't find any mounts right now. And don't have enough of a ranking to go on the wanted page on here
  2. So I've put my powerscreen engine into the 750 slingshot frame and all but one of the mounting holes is lining up. The front mount on the break away frame is quite a bit out. Have I fucked something up here of is something else fooked. BTW when I bought the frame it had been fitted with a bandit 12 lump and the front mounts have been messed with
  3. Well that's going to be a bastard to adjust once it's on the bike
  4. They are a shitty system. Mine doesn't even turn the idle screw it's just a short piece of rubber pipe. Out of curiosity does anyone know how many turns out is a good starting point for it idle?
  5. Dose anybody recognise this bike? It currently up on Eblag at about £1800, I'm sure it's a diverse engineering bike that was featured in streetfighters minus a few trick bits
  6. Buy yourself a manual matey it will answer a lot of the simpler questions you have far quicker than waiting for a response on here sometimes.
  7. Just bandits sell a dyno jet kit for the bandit 6 to run pod filters. BUT when quickie from the quick bikes youtube channel used the kit and ran it on they dyno it still didn't run that well. They ended up changing the jets. Unfortunately quickie died before they could dyno the bike with the new jets. If you watch his channel he might say what he was going to use
  8. Timeserts look a lot better but over 200 quid for a fitting kit!!!! Could buy new calipers for that or is there a cheaper kit out there?
  9. Got a set off nissin calipers for the Gay 7/11 but the arse that sold them to me didn't tell me 2 of the mounting holes have stripped threads. Been in a cubard for months so lost they guys details so they will have to be fixed if possible. Can I use a helicoil or is there a safer way to save the calipers
  10. I nearly bought that bike 3 years or so ago. Your best bet is to see if the same year 600/750 wheel matches as the slimmer wheel has more chance of fitting your swing arm
  11. With the complete k4 rear in place I can't get the wheels to line up without major work and still risk the chain fouling the frame. I do have a spare 750 wheel to try wich looks like it could fit and all line up. There isn't alot of space on the sprocket carrier to machine off so any machining would have to be done to the hub. When the weathers a little nicer I'm going to put the engine in the frame wich should show me I anythings twisted as no one else has had as many issues doing this conversation
  12. From the top of the disc I have about 3 to 4mm clearance to the. That's not the best pic, I couldn't get my phone in there
  13. Well I've taken the front wheel off my K1 750 and put it in the Srad forks. Using the K1's spindle as its slightly longer. The wheel seems to be out by about 1mm. I'm guessing a 1/2 a mm shim on the captive spacers would fix it? (If I can find one) The brakes and disks fit but clearances is tight to the outside of the caliper tho I'm guessing I could machine 1/2 a mm off the mounting points to get everything more or less spot on My main worry is the disc isn't far off the top of the caliper could heat expansion of the disc make the foul?
