Haha, yes......its been standing a few years .....only cost £100...so no probs...the more I turn it over the better it gets.....will do valve clearances and see whether there's any difference took a punt on it as it was cheaper than getting 2nd hand barrels...I can always turn it into an anchor for my other bike...

I need some new exhaust gaskets for my 1100f....there's a mixture of types on ebog, but the existing ones are about 4 to 5 mm thick and seem to be made of lots of small strands of copper wire....can these still be obtained or do any of the other types work?

Might try a bit of heat beforehand to see if this helps.....all the other bolts were stainless and came out easy. I'm cursing the turd who put in a normal one..

has anyone used left hand drill bits to remove a sheared exhaust stud......I'm reluctant to use 'easy outs' as I had one snap on me on another bike and they are undrillable!

Just after a bit of advice....what type of header pipe bolts should I replace my existing ones with...or is it better to put in some exhaust studs . It's an 1100f.

Thanks, I will start looking... it has a 4into1 on at the moment but the collector area near the sump plug has been bashed in I'm assuming, to be able to drain oil without having to remove the downpipes. There only seems to be original 4 into 2s on Eblag and they are ridiculously expensive. Are B12s bandits ?
