not my strong point and avoided this wiring like the plague but must crack on....rear light turns off on high beam and struggling to wire in nos controller but getting there , then i can start tidying it up a bit

started to polish the worst off the frame, made a new seat unit and modded the tank to suit, engine ready for paint

its almost 12 months since i got frame and not updated anything , time fly's , had to grind off shock mounts as they looked weak and made some new chunky ones

yes he finally caved in, going to need a couple of alterations but easily doable

same frame as above , no it was not me but maybe the guy i have just bought it off , luckily i have since got in contact with bob and he will help with any info i need , been after this frame for many years and now have one, will keep you all updated on progress , many thanks for all your help , cheers carl

INFO NEEDED does anyone know of a big tubed bob moss frame that originally held a fireblade motor, ive been told bob was either a frame builder or racer who came from scotland, story is there was three frames built , two destroyed and i have only one left ,think bike was published many years ago... any info/help would be greatfully appreciated

just a thought but maybe previous owner used fully synthetic once ? an old mate done the same many years ago and he only went 10 miles with it in , dropped oil , flushed out and filled up with correct oil , the clutch kept slipping in high revs for 8 months before he ended up buying new plates

been offered a turbo from a suburu , would this be any good, he wants £150 for it

looks like the turbo is on hold for a short while , after doing a spot of research and some great info and help from a member ive since found out the turbo is fecked, theres also about £200 of parts i need that are missing and another £250 to have it set-up along with about £150 for new turbo.....bit gutted but will keep on plodding and get it fitted soonish

on my 1200 with 36mm carb's , free flow zorst and ramair filters i have 155 mains , 2.5/3 turns a/f mix and 2nd groove from bottom on needles ...not saying its right but you will be close, mine is a little rich and does need a set-up

i have a fuel pump on the nitrous , maybe i could add a T piece ?

thanks paul , i will also have my bike on show at the kickback , hopefully catch you there and will have a look at your turbo , which bike will you have or if you see me near my gix give me a shout....i have oilcooler , this is the pic of what ive bought , complete novice to turbo's but learning as i go

ive just done a deal on a turbo systum but need a couple of parts. some samco or other makes hose for sure but not sure on the rest or how its plumbed in , will get some pic's up thursday afterwork . ideally a simple diagram would be a great help , there is no cooler so is it needed also a bit of play in the turbo which i new about but been told a rebuild kit is pretty cheap

could do with a clearcoat and just waiting on it to be test fitted , more than likely will need to heat up a little to form the bend's but its looking good

is this for gsxr ? would like to try and add a cover over/umbrella top of carbs / filters to stop rain ? maybe bad idea just thinking aload

that would be great for a template , even better for a loan of gsxr one, anyone want to loan me one it will not be damaged and if all works out well you will get a free carbon one
