Yes it's a serious question due to cdi failure last night up the Raven and thinking everything is overhauled bar the ignition minus the dyna coils and uprated wiring I asked if anyone had any thoughts on dyna 2000 due to looking on the net and seeing some people had issues with the control module burning out for some reason and thought before I believe what I read I would ask people with first hand Experience. Yes it would be good to use some of its features as my efe is turbo'd and could tune the ignition better. The efi route I was suggesting was something as a last resort due to taking bike of road and modifying TBs etc because it is fine how it runs now and does what I want it to do I just want a newer set up. Cheers

Has anyone used this or know if it's any good don't really want to go down the efi route as I would have to take the efe off the road again. Or I could just use a original cdi until winter for do a efi change.

Turbo everything once you've had boost there's no going back

Think it's time for another ignition system my cdi packed up going the Raven would only work a certain way so tie wraps to the rescue and cured it went Raven for a brew then got home good thing with old bikes you can still bodge repair them to get home.

All done , fitted a gsxr 1000 master cylinder and rear caliper and welded torque arm bracket to swingarm fitted a wavey rear disc to match the fronts and fitted some crescent suzuki racing rearsets I can't have them to extreme as when I had a crash on a bike my knee and foot were the wrong way , rear wheel needs re powder coating but I'm riding now fuck it , runs well at 16 psi pulls hard enjoyed the sun yesterday did a nice shake down 100 miles

Another way is to mig weld round around the inner race the weld contracts the bearing race it will either fall out or one or two taps and out plus the weld gives you something to hit no damage to bearing seat also works on roller wheel bearings.

Never shake the left hand of a efe owner , looks a good start what's the plans ?

Had a good rock music shed day greased and re adjusted head bearings sprayed bottom yoke , fitted some neater headlight brackets , drilled and tapped some better lock stops then fitted some rearsets not fully happy with them yet so that's for another day, not keen on the boost gauge so might swop that for a old Skool mr turbo one.

Another way is mig weld around inner race and the weld contracts the race and a tap will knock it out use the same technique on roller wheel bearings

Love it

Mines a td 04 with welded up wastegate off a Impreza bought it for a tenner had no problems with it not sure on power don't really believe dynos depends if it's calibrated right I know it spins up and wheelies so that keeps me happy.
