  1. Goodmorning everyone. I removed the spark plug caps and noticed that the ceramic resistor lost the copper at the base and therefore resisted too much. I then replaced the ceramic resistor with a copper bar. Now I ask myself: which spark plug should I mount? Br8EA or B8EA?

I tried a B8EA (dating back to the end of the year 80, with the brown writing) and causes a huge spark !!

  2. When I bought the bike had the problem that you see in the video even with the original instrumentation. I tried 3 (original) and they all had the same problem. I also bought another tacho (what you see in the video) but nothing.  I tried to follow the black/yellow cable that carries the signal from the right coil to the instrumentation but it looks perfect. What could I check?

  3. I noticed while I'm reassembling all an abnormal coloring inside the exhaust collectors , here's the photo. The valves and the game valves in the cylinder 4 were perfect , the carbation equal and adjusted for all four cylinders...

  4. I'm about to reassemble the cylinders and the headboard, removing the old original Suzuki seals I noticed that they left like a paint (I think it's a sealant primer) on the surface between the planes(pictured you see silver). Should it all be removed completely? How can I do that?

  5. I have the possibility to buy this bike for the amount of 700 € (about 800 $). I absolutely don't know the type of engine, but from what he told me the owner mounts the base of the Gsx-r ...
Can you give me some information? Is it a good bike? I'll take it?

  6. this morning I adjusted the valve clearance, setting it as manual to 0.10: I state that I have a GS1150. I also removed the chain tensioner to clean it. Obviously all the procedures done with the crankshaft at the right T point. When I reassembled everything, this annoying ticking occurs, I don't understand if it depends on the chain tensioner or on the valves.
