  1. Very nice Phillis
  2. The R1 shock is definitely an improvement and much easier to set up handles the heat much better
  3. Shy the usual problems. This mustard machine has been pretty good fun both on road and on track and after wobbling round oulton park a couple weeks back I thought it's high time I treated my faithful old snot donkey to some goodies. So far just micron cans. Healtech quickshifter some intense Yoshi boxing and an R1 shock conversion it's pretty stock and id always fancied some posh suspension and a race system...
  4. Motor in. And some removal of Chinese shite later and this little snotbox doesn't look half bad!
  5. Motor out and turns out there's fuck all compression in the front cylinder and clearances are all over the show. Best be safe he says and rip off the front head clean up and see what's going on Good clean up and back together after fighting a rusted on front sprocket
  6. First step after collection was the big clean. 60,000 miles of use and no signs of a wash. Scrubbed up alright with 2 tins of brake cleaner and a bottle of petrol Next step motor out for a good once-over and an easy valve check + scrub
  7. Along with my gsxr project I have an sick TL fetish I struggle to shift and I'm currently on tiller number 5 been knocking about on a cheap Swiss imported mustard yellow S for the last 12 months and Its done me proud. Couple of track outings and plenty days out with the Mrs on her mini dubba SV. Since it's my little dirty secret I thought I'd share it for other botherers to enjoy. Here's the mustard machine and some mods and goodies to come!
  8. Hopefully be down at pod for the Sunday see you there bud
  9. Still no word from hagon. Little cheesed off I've bought another slingshot shock with remote res. Turns out a friend has bought all the gear to service and rebuild all forms of suspension Inc fitting new bladders dampers etc etc. Gonna see how we can get on with that as a stop gap before getting a proper fit for purpose custom shock.
  10. Surely just the ignition switch is foobar. Pop the bottom off and check the contacts haven't gone green and as you stay aren't shorting out against each other
  11. What sort of prices do they range from? I've contacted hagon for now but gonna shop about
  12. It took a few weekends but measurements taken. Thanks dupersunc
  13. Following on from this turns out i can deal hagon through work so good chance of a little discount weekend job in the shed is to get measuring thanks for the indepth advice
  14. Paint and fibreglass ahead and mine will be ready to be dragged around and looked at
  15. I've got to get to the next one of these! excuse to rip the TL around
