  1. Curious to know peoples views on what frames you could use instead of an 82 era 759/1100 katana  seeing as they are scarse 

    would have all the katana 1100 bodywork etc 

    I’ve briefly looked at things like ez, inazuma, and et frames etc 


    just pondering until I find what I want

    If the fault ONLY occurs when braking, it may not be carb related at all ? ? ?

     

    I’ve wondered if it’s  pilots for a while 

    it smells fuelly like it’s Just flooded if it does cut out and you can hear the revs drop

  4. B12 lump and carbs etc 

    been set up on the dyno 

    interested to know if anyone else has come across this,

     

    upon hard braking the bike cuts out 

    not all the time

    (Now if I feel it, obviously a quick blip of the throttle etc keeps it on track)

    The clutch also drives the oil pump and the generator. Maybe the generator driven sprocket is loose?

    Hi guys and gals 

    A mate had a bandit 12 motor run fine from what I can remember,

    he changed the cam chain guide as it was broken (was running fine before he took the head off and found this issues) after fixing this  I don’t remember the engine being ran back up after that in my presence 
    I have now acquired the motor and it has a bad noise from what sounds like the gear box (front sprocket side id personally say)

    Before parting the crank casing I took the clutch basket etc out and found the roller bearing had ovaled great I thought however this didn’t change anything 

    I took the basket etc out once again and for a second ran up the engine 
    The noise had gone completely upon doing this

     (clutch all seems fine upon visual inspection)

    Now I have the crank cases apart as I was thinking it was the bearings within the gearbox however they all seem fine 
    I haven’t measured anything to see if there within spec according the the manual 

    im just wondering if anyone had any experience with what ever I’m chasing

  8. Anyone wired the slabby switchgear into a b12 loom 

     

    I’m adament about having square switchgear 

     

    from what I can see so far it’s doable just wondering if anyone done this as I don’t have the switchgear yet 

    along with I need to waste posts to be able to view and post more on here ahaahaha

    I've got early k series cops

    code 129700-4400 

    are there any shorter ones that I can use that give out around 3ohms as I'm not really liking how far they stick out the motor (b12) 

    also what's the best way to test them so I know what ohms there putting out
