All sorted matey cheers.... Keep that evil shite there....last time i had 2 shots of that i was in a coma for a week

I think the best one to use with the right spring rate is the k7/k8 gsxr 1000 ... same length and very close spring rate to stock
-
Ahh i can get the full seat units (2 versions) just not the one that replaces the rear seat pad
-
May go braced then.. Worth a try if have one sat doing nowt!
I gotta order a castle nut socket for the smaller castle not the larger lock one.. Do you happen to know the part number or what suits as what I have here is a no go and too big for the wp
-
I would go with the 2-1 ramair filter socks as the other guys have mentioned if running bellmouths
-
Happy to help !! I have a complete 1995 back end still fitted in the chassis so was also considering swapping it in to the wp?
50/50 with the idea as have got the wp with modified bottom link/bones/k8 shock and sits nice...Braced does look nicer hmmmmmmm

Allready sorted /re-fitted the carbs for base setting pre dyno runs so just cleaning up the yoshi this week.
Lucky for me it's a stainless system so just a quick rubdown to get rid the road grime and polish up.
Have a mild steel one on the 750L just got back from blasters with the usual collector box holes Pfffffff!!!!.
Next on the wp list is to try and find a single seat pod/cowl... Wish me luck lol

Thanks Madb.
Yes i did think there were a problem getting em set up right hence the ask. dont tend to see many without the boxes.
Had the carbs off and got quite big mains in over stock (125's all 4) with what look to be like aftermarket 3 stepped/tapered needles (pressume dynojet?)
Will have a good full strip down and check settings tmrw eve

Anyone happen to know a good base setting to start with for 750 wp running seperate pod filters per chance?
Bike does seem to be running tad rich at the mo with dynojet kit / airbox with k&n / Full yoshi system but feels good on throttle eveywhere so only pressume set up for top end.
Am simply looking to run pod set up for ease of working etc and carb removal chassis clean up.
Will have a look into current settings when carbs off but be nice to no if anyone else is running good settings with filters?.

Pair of 2 1/2" SUs should sort it.
What were the BEARS Ducati guys running? They had to rub carbs on the watercooled 4v bikes under the wacky rules.
Actually - I know of a guy who's been CNCing Billet copies of the old Gardiner flatslides in enormous sizes for the Big bore Vincent guys.
Flat trackers are probably living with the FCR42s - they're not chasing peak power.
From memory the bears/bott dukes along with moriwaki vtr's etc were running the FCR 41's open and ramair set ups

Whip the fuel pump and filter off for a good clean and fire airline in the hoses etc
Clean the terminal on fuel relay and lube and re connect.
If it gets a little gummed up or sticky it sends a signal to the relay to cut spark off and stop fuel etc.

Looking and sitting real nice dunc..
Did the spindles with the wheels work out ok with your forks/swinger etc? i managed to stumble across another set of astra's in the oldmans stores yesterday lol.. (no i am keeping these ones )Along with a harris magnum 2 frame/tank/swinger lots of other retro trick 80's 90's race stuff that i need to have a clearout or get him to clearout soon
The extended version (+70mm) ducati tt1-2 (not f1) seat units look real real good on them if your looking to go down the TTF1 route in keeping with the era!!
