  1. Yeh,they do say on the website tell them some info of your bike but I was really after some opinions on peeps who already use them, just to get a feel about how they perform ;)

I am going to contact them in the week also.

  2. Peeps...have any of you recommendations on what rate of springs I should get for my K1 forked EFE...The current ones are too soft for my liking as it compresses way too much on hard braking..

The springs come in rates starting from 8.5 up to 10.5....

    What do you guys use?

the ones I had were all equipped with lugs.....they had some sort of plastic plug pushed in the threaded portion ......that being the ....full faired / half faired and naked .

Yep,same here...My 'e' had them, once, along with the plastic bungs too...I might even have a couple still kicking about.

  4. Yeh,if you had it in DWG file they just press a button and boom...job done.....do you know any draughtsmen who could quickly do a cad drawing for you...If not I could ask ours but I would need a gasket/template ;)

  5. Can anyone tell me what is the best all round sprocket choice for a road going GSX/EFE.I have had a look on th calculators but i am after some first hand reviews ;)

It is being used on the street as well as a bit of sprinting/quarter mile fun..just for shits and giggles..nothing too serious...(Im running a 180 on a mildly stretched arm.)

I do not thrash the thing on roads too much but I do like the odd short hard squirt now and again...

I currently have 17/46 fitted at the moment.Cheers peeps.

  6. As above..I too took my other big bike out and it started to grumble, almost notchy...thought it was the 'box on it's was out (it has a fourth gear issue anyway)....turns out a good squirt of chain lube did the trick....i'd try this first before condemning the box,it won't hurt and costs pennys...worth a go.If no better then at least it rules that out.

Does it do it in any other gear??

  7. As for the battery there is nothing to stop you insulating it from the engines heat....oh and give enough room under the tank for the battery terminals...you do not want the live connection arcing on a fuel tank O.o

yep, thats ok. you should make a handful and sell them on here to recoup your costs, that way yours costs you nowt!

Thinking about it....if I get time I will do a couple or two ;)

  9. Just thought I would share the new catch tank I made for the EFE...Its only a trial fit as its a work in progress. However much I would love a genuwine Yoshi tank or similar I wouldn't be able to justify the cost to the wife :)

Anyway,it fits fine and unlike some others it incorporates a support for the gearchange....its just a shame I don't have an AC welder at home. Its difficult trying to hide homework amongst proper work!!!!...It may not be Racefit quality (them boys are the cream) but it does the job.DSCN0333.thumb.JPG.c7b451a3cf4e6da5363ac7c1ab041ece.JPGDSCN0334.thumb.JPG.4702f884092ec08ad9f6908fdab64c7c.JPG
