There are several frame builders that used this central tube style. EGLI; RAU; Fischer; SEGONI; and many more home brew framebuilders

One of the most important thing to share at this period in my life:
Family & friends
In addition...if I can add the motorcycle moments. Great !
This time, i was litteraly honoured to park my bike alongside with the Harris "Belgium Team Force" during the SalonMotoLégende event in Paris this w-end.
Both bikes were on display at the "Club11R" stand.
The comparison was flattering for me...& of course nothing comparable in terms of preparation. Add drivers like Richard Hubin, Greg Fastré, Mathieu LaGrive & Bruno LeBihan... This gives an idea of the level of competitiveness!- 9

And for what i know "Mr Rofidal" will be on the board of the Castellet track with all his stuff on the SundayRideClassic event in March. Maybe you can order and be free delivered under the French sun overthere ?

The shock and mount look very similar to the cantilever MotoMartin first version. (DeCarbon shock as well)
You'r right when you named "DeCarbon" & "EMC" as French brand.
If you want have some info about a good aftermarket solution for a Harris take your chance with Mike Capon from "shock Factory".
English subject from his Majesty installed in France. http://www.shock-factory.fr/

You're lucky to have an alloy tank.
Look as GS1000 frame ! ( i don't want to contradict Georges...ooooh no !)But he's right. Not his favourite réalisation...as he said... But i have one and it's a good bike. The artists are sometimes hard on their past works...
Originaly with a "cantilever" type suspension. Your original swingarm will give good info about the date from the rest of the frame but 80/81 seems "young". (imho)

Is this event on every year & is it run by Club 11 R.
Because of the wonderfull succes from last édition i can't imagine that this event could not survive. I'm waiting for the 2018 date. Surely in April.
If it's confirmed, i'll be there & friends from French Club11R too.- 1

Looks like a good event, bike went well on track. I did a lap two up on a pit bike on the old lay out, took a long time

Of course, i can't be really pleased from my ride quality. The Bike perform much better than i actually can...Nothing to see with Mike "Spike" Edwards in term of job !!!
Anyway that was not the target. If you're going on this kind of event with a mentality style "mine is bigger than yours"...all the chance are with you for having a very bad expérience...
I'll try to be stronger next year. Better drive, better final demultiplication (1 or 2 teeths less ?) lighter bike (in road setup today)- 1

Le castellet is the name from "the Paul Ricard" race track. It's south of France.
From my location, i've 1200 kms...from Calais, it's something like 1100kms.

Great !
Was he literally in flying crossing the finish line ?

From there, the installation is easy. The Look is a little bit massive, but it's was a choice at the begining because i've opted for some FHC screws and need to make a "counterbore" (don't know if it's a exact term ?) for a correct mounting. I've buy this special tool and i'm waiting for it.
Please...don't pay to much attention to the screws in place. Works, but...It's provisional. Was the only ones under the hands.

I wish you "Bonne chance" @Kid Kearsley & a lot of fun !

Hi to all OSS girls & boys.
Since a long time,I've keeped in mind improve the braking power from my Slabby. I've passed a part of Winter trying to make work a pair of sixpot Béringer caliper...but with an unadapted master cylinder...no chance. So i change the plan and buy some bargain part from "a Prilia" bike.To mount this stuff, i've done some aloominium brackets (all laser cut with 2 hands a driller & a metal saw...)

Finaly find a little time for send some pictures from the last event.
If i can say...don't hesitate... GO SOUTH !!!
In the last period, wheater in my usual aera (west France) is like a big dark cloud charged in water just able to drowned you each time you decided to have a run...
Nothing to see with the sun we have during all the w-end.
Of course, much better to feel confident with the tyres...- 7
