  1. Yes. I was surprised . Those calipers are tiny and built as light parts. Mounting screws on fork are M8. (Instead well know M10) 600grs less for the pair and my Brembo calipers were equiped with Titanium screws...
  2. Pics...cause i know, you guys, love them. Front caliper are changed for Tokico 4 pots. 600grs less than Brembo's.
  3. @DAZThank you for your comment. Of course, there are always 2-3 things to improve. In particular, ground clearance that limits me a lot. With 17" wheels, it's too low. I'm going to try with a 60 height rear tyre (currently 55) and correct trim by sliding fork tubes. Remove fairing under engine is another possibility. It's not essential to ride (where i ride) Mikuni RS are already installed too.
  4. Some news after a 4 years break . Bike doesn't evolved too much, except front and rear brakes and exhaust. In short enought to be bored during a trackdays. But everything went well. Pics was during last SundayRideClassic @circuitpaulricard in southern France.
  5. Yes. Just do it ! For infos, the spine is not a tube but a welded rolled sheet to give Ø100mm.
  6. Considering the manufacture date from the frame (1977) you can imagine that tubes tickness are...not particularly thin. My memory says 2mm . We can do much better today with another material quality. The bike weight is approx 175kgs.(without fuel) No Mag wheels, no Titanium exhaust. With alternator, starter, battery. And engine full of Oil.
  7. Long time improvments on this one. Unfortunatly . No time for doing track days...Maybe in the future .
  8. Hi ! Take a look on previous post. At page 4 you have the Egli drawing that inspired the MotoMartin brand birth. Lot of infos on this.
  9. Hi all. After another winter...and some works on the bike, i was finaly abble to change the front discs to install a Beringer iron pair and a tiny Baudoin rear caliper (ex GMT94 bike). Multitude other job done but can't be see on this pic... Anyway...this will be another year "without" cause nothing is planned concerning a possible track day or something similar.
  10. I've this in project, yes. This is just the (unnecessary) proof, you have very good taste, Paul.
  11. Made some change on my first slabby. Marchesini rear wheel and...a complet brake system from Beringer.
  12. Some months passed during this sh.t year and plan has gently changed in term of fairing. Got opportunity to buy a bargain (never mounted) Ragged Yoshimura 86 fairing from a friend. YES...you can find some British made stuff...in France ! Think it's look much what i want instead the vintage Roca one. Racefit exhaust goes away toi as i prefer a long pipe to suit the Fiberman seat and my Remus one is just .
  13. Yes, and Katsuhiko Akai San (MotoJunkie) is a very NICE person.
  14. Pic referred (the one with dry clutch) wasn't my realisation. Question at the time was...if someone knows the bike. Respons : It's a RAU, in fact. Mine is a MotoMartin for memory. I'm not interested by a dry clutch. Mods for a such thing need the specific dry clutch shaft. Not the GsxF 1100 one. Expensive parts that every want could be a good thing... for someone motived for a refab series. In some years this will hapen, obviously .
  15. If a meeting is possible, i would come with my MotoMartin . Just be aware i'm super fast and you all know something : - Don't messes with a Frenchman. You know...
  16. BST38SS from 750W (1993-French market) does have operate plate for push-pull cable. Surprised to see that. For me, a BST (membrane carbs) need working with only 1 cable. Less rpm/depression close the carbs... So don't understand why second cable was needed for doing what's anyway already happened. I've tested the two system on same bike with this BST38 W carbs. 1cable or push-pull. Works the same/no gain.
  17. I was thinking your 7up finished . Have a nice day, Paul.
  18. Under the SUN @circuit Paul Ricard !
