johnr Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 soory mate, i didnt get to it today. give me five mins to finish my beer and i will wander down with the camera and calipers/tape. Quote
johnr Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 OK, mk 2 impulse alloy swingarm, spindle is 20mm dia, width of the arm at pivot point is 215mm, length from pivot centre to end of arm is 600mm (obv wheel spindle has a shorter distance with about 55mm of adjustment, ) shock mounts are approx 480mm from the pivot point, mounts are forks (so shocks must be eye-eye) and its approximately 235mm between the inner faces of the wheel slots. And in keeping with stuff made for the Japanese home market, its a thing of beauty! Pics aren't a great angle cos I'm not dragging this out at this time of night! But you get the idea. Quote
micktodd Posted September 20, 2018 Author Posted September 20, 2018 That great arm will fit both my bikes and there are two on a site we don't mention lol thank you for all the info Quote
johnr Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 get em bought quick, cheaper than a bandit arm and the lugs for shock mounts and considerably prettier, when fols ralise how nice theey are, theeyr all gonna want one! fronts quite narrow (narrower than a 250 kat arm) but that makes it easier to fit because its just spacers rather than altering the frame. johnr Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 one of them arms is from a mk1 impulse, horrible little steel flimsy monoshock arm, make sure you buy the mk2 one, and thats a good price. when i got mine, i had to buy the whole bike and break it to get an arm! there are 2 listed in japan for silly money Quote
micktodd Posted September 20, 2018 Author Posted September 20, 2018 Yeah saw the ones in Japan stupid price and yes only looking for the twin shock ones did expect to find more than just two Quote
