WimBaas Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 I am going to put an EF 1135 engine in my ET frame. Is it just a matter of using the engine mounting plates from the ET or is there something else to do? I have heard it should be an easy fit but I noticed that the front mounting plates from the EF don’t bolt up on the ET frame. I am not in the possession of the ones from the ET so I can not compare. The EF engine is mounted in rubber and the ET engine is not according to the cmsnl parts side. Is that correct? Thanks. Quote
stockcar Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Simply use the frame mounting parts for the original and its will bolt straight in...... EF frame is totally different hence why those are no good Quote
WimBaas Posted May 8, 2018 Author Posted May 8, 2018 Allright. Thanks. Now I have to find two mountingsplates then. Quote
Duckndive Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 the left hand rear mount on EFE frame is welded ..and the right hand rear is a bolt on..... as the cases are the same you may find the rear et mounts will work with new spacers and possibly plates the frames are different but the main difference is the rear suspension Quote
