Why does the float valve stop sealing properly and flood the thing every morning.  last month it's great, then this weak problems. Before last month it unsealed for a weak.

I can't have this every morning.  It's got a fuel filter.  The intake, carb and filter I cleaned out a thousand miles  Is that right. If I blow through the fuel hose after draining it I can checuuk the float valve

Think it can go in either way but if its worn then it might seat one way but not the other.

Could turn the fuel off every night to help but it won't solve the problem.

I'll try it the other way, I think it got turned around last time it was out.   I do turn the fuel off if I remember,  I'm waiting for a fag smoker to get a surprise lolz.  Probably be me

I think it goes either way cos the pin  swivels in its wire link.  Predictably it's made it worse.   Ive bent the tang up a touch so valve closes earlier. Can anyone confirm that's the right way, I get confused with float levels
