Kurf Posted January 5, 2018 Share Posted January 5, 2018 I’ve just bought a 91 frame at a good price to use for my 7/11 project. Current frame is ‘89 but damaged in some places ( not structural ) Are those differences as shown in pics normal between 89 and 91 frames? I want to swap frames but not if the 89 is the better one for a 7/11 Quote Link to comment

Nik Posted January 9, 2018 Share Posted January 9, 2018 Note that the 1990 750 L frame is very different from the 1991 750 M frame. The M frame is 15 kg or so heavier (probably a cost-saving move where Suzuki used the same frame on 750 and 1100 in 1991). J/K frames are smaller but will house an 1100/1200 Engine.
