davecara Posted May 19, 2017 Posted May 19, 2017 Will one run a 1052? Ive got a mk2 bandit loom I'm using and a late b12 cdi will be plug and play and less messing than redoing the plugs and adding the second pickup to the loom Quote
fatblokeonbandit Posted May 19, 2017 Posted May 19, 2017 yes, i had mark 2 electrics on my harris mag2, and had 3 different engines in it and used the same mark 2 ignition pick ups and rotor to keep it all plug and play, for the rest all you need to do is drill and tap a 6mm thread in the the output shaft to make the speedo rotor fit, use a mark 2 sprocket cover with pick up, a mk2 neutral switch as well will plug in, and i even got a mark 2 alternator so i didnt chop any plugs, needed the alternator drive gear swoping for the slabby one and it all worked. 1 Quote
davecara Posted May 19, 2017 Author Posted May 19, 2017 (edited) Happy days Just a thought though, the mk2 uses a tps on the carbs doesn't it? I take it that is fine to be left unplugged? Edited May 19, 2017 by davecara Quote
