Hi, I've got a Gsxr750w that makes a clanking type noise when started from cold . ( seems to come from left side as you sit on bike ).

Noise goes up and down with revs .

However once run for a couple of mins noise disappears.

Bike runs a treat , other than a very light bit os smoke on one cylinder which I've been told I'd valve guide seals .

Any ideas on noise ?

Starter clutch, cam chain, altenator,.  Long Screwdriver will help you source it.

Just thought about water pump clean inside? Or carb slides?
