GS1168 Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 ive got a (USA model GS) GSX with a 1168 kit on it (10.25to1), full dyna ignition, 4-1 pipe race baffle. im tired of messing with the 34's it came with (#4 carb has been giving me trouble for years now). i have couple sets of carbs available for it including rs38's. should i run the 38 flatties on it or use 38 or 36 gsxr cv's? RS- start with 135 mains and setup as the book suggests or no? Also do the RS carbs have a throttle stop screw @ wot? any experience and advise will be appreciated Quote
woody Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 I also have a gsx1100 taken out to 1168, larger inlet valves, Upperton welded crank and a bit of his porting too. I have found my RS36's brilliant 1 Quote
KATANAMANGLER Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 RS38 might be a bit big RS36 would work better. Quote
GS1168 Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 rather not buy another rack of carbs. should i run the 38 cv's instead? Quote
