Spongebob Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Any one got an exploded view or parts diagram of the internals for Marzocchi forks as used by Harris on Mag 2 please? I think same forks also used on Laverda of period. Mine are not working as they should. We think internals may have been modified but have nothing to compare to. Cant find anything on internet. Quote
Dezza Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 (edited) My mate had a Lavatory RGS for donkeys years and he had a very comprehensive workshop manual for it. I suspect if you go to a Lav forum, someone will have one of these books and can post an exploded diagram of the forks. Edited November 4, 2016 by Dezza Quote

Whilst not identical it gave enough information to work out what was missing from where. With some new preload spacers machined up I should be ok. Interesting that there is no bush at the top of the fork so the stanchion just slides against the fork lower. Ohlins they are not! Quote
Dezza Posted November 9, 2016 Posted November 9, 2016 I would have guessed they are not that advanced in design but a lack of bushes seems odd. Even the prehistoric forks in my little 100cc Yamaha dirt bike from 1972 has bushes in the forks. Glad you found a parts diagram though. Quote
