Found a 05 GSX600 being broken and purchased the loom, switch gear and a few other electrical parts that are compatible with the 05 750 engine I have. My problem is the CDI unit, I've seen a 04 ignitor going for a reasonable price on Eblag, question is will it work (there are two CDI's listed for 04 bikes, I guess this is early and late production runs)

Do I need to find the exact unit for the 05 or will it not make any real difference
