mozz Posted July 16, 2016 Share Posted July 16, 2016 (edited) Hi all iv just rebuilt my gsx750f mk1 carbs ( 36mm mikuni), and iv had a job trying to find a new carb cap, so i v got a carb cap off a gsf1200 mk1 bandit, which does fit, however it is a little taller than the standard cap. I did have a major problem that when started from cold with no choke or throttle ( no cables sticking), she would rev to about 8000rpm, so i turned her off straight away. So iam expecting an air leak? Question is would this make a difference to the running as the are vacuum carbs? Kind regards Edited July 16, 2016 by mozz Quote Link to comment
