gsxf engine question

hey there, i want to put a gsxf750 engine in my 750 ET.

Is there any difference between an old gsxf engine and the newer ones?

There different in power i've read, but will the newer ones also fit in the ET frame?

externally they are basically the same (different sump pan, and the newer one has 5mm taller cilinders if I'm not mistaken), internally they are quite different. New one has longer stroke, one more cc (749 vs 748), smaller valves, softer camshafts, and probably clutch and gearbox differences. @Del might join in and tell you more.
