Swirl Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 What shock fits straight in to a 1100 powerscreen, the one on mine is goosed, do any gsxr shocks fit and work with the wait difference or b12 750 teapot Quote
Del Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 I am trying a couple of shocks(gsxr and sv) this afternoon,so i'll let you know Quote
Del Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 (edited) Well it turns out the powerscreen shock is quite long at 340mm,the 1100 shocks are between 305 and 310mm(My 11k was 305,my 1100ws Hagon is 310mm) I have fitted the sv650(It is the same length at 340mm),but I think it will be too soft for the gsx fatty. I can't re-fit the gsx one as it is knackered, plus it weighs in at 5kg(the hagon one is only 2kg)and I have put the tubby fooker on a diet The sv shock did bolt straight up though. Now,I am either going to fit shorter dog-bones and the hagon shock, find a 340mm decent shock or just fit the hagon shock,1100k swingingarm and linkage.Fitting the 100k arm and linkage would save a ton of weight because the powerscreen swinging arm is no hollow alluminium section like most arms.It turns out it is a solid lump of aluminium, try lifting it when the shock is out it weighs a ton(I will find out what it actually weighs) Edited June 30, 2016 by Del 1 Quote
