coombehouse Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 I am getting into modifying my GSX1100EZ & have a choice of forks to use. I have some Triumph T595 forks & yokes & a set of USD's with radial brakes from a GSXR600 I think. Anyway my question is which to use? More modern with the USD's or more traditional with the chunky T595 forks. Length is not a problem with either as I will extend them slightly whichever I use. My Kat had RWU Learnerbike for poofs forks in the part which i didnt really like & now uses Aprilia RSV's which look OK but what to do with this bike? Personally I change my mind almost daily. Input & any pics would be appreciated. Nick 1 Quote
Jonboy Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 (edited) Me, I would fit the trumpet forks, never liked look of USDs on older dino bikes. Also because of upper fork diameter on USDs you may find yourself with a very limited steering lock or a very dented tank. Anyway, I would choose RWU forks. Have a set of H*nda VFR on my GS1000 which look great Edited March 16, 2016 by Jonboy add pic Quote
